CHOIR RECRUITMENT

Could your son or daughter become a chorister in St Botolph’s Choir
Every year we are looking for boys and girls to join the Choir. We are recruiting both boys and girls from a younger age group (aged 7 onwards)
Being a chorister is demanding but fun. It involves a commitment of rehearsals after school (Tuesdays during term time) and services at weekends.
Choristers are given training in musical and vocal skills, and work to a professional standard in the Choir. There are many benefits of being a chorister. Boys and girls learn many life skills such as self-discipline, a sense of responsibility and teamwork, language, communication and social skills as well as musical and vocal skills. Their camaraderie, enjoyment of singing and professionalism motivate them and they are driven forward by a desire to become more and more proficient at their singing, and to take more and more responsibility for the sound of the Choir.

BOSTON FOOD BANK
The Parish of Boston Foodbank, in partnership with the Trussell Trust, distributes food to families/individuals in crisis on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 12 - 2 pm at St Christopher's Church, Fenside, Boston. A voucher is required to obtain the necessary food parcels which may be obtained from various charitable organisations around the town.
 
Donations of non-perishable food may be taken to the Parish Office at The Stump and there is a collection trolley at Asda supermarket. Monetary donations can also be left at the Parish Office.

St Botolph's (The Stump) is open daily throughout the year from 8.30am to 4.30pm.

The TOWER is open daily (Monday to Saturday) from 10.00am to 3.30pm. There is an admission charge (£3.00) to climb the Tower. THE TOWER IS TOWER OPEN

CHRISTMAS FAYRE : Saturday, 29 November from 10.00am to 2.00pm. Take a ride on the Steam Train to Santa's Grotto and get a present from Santa. Many stalls in the Church and Food Market at the Ingram Memorial. Music entertainment by Stump musicians. Xbox One, Tablet Computor are some of the exciting prizes in our Raffle. Raffle Tickets available at the Stump.

ADVENT AND CHRISTMAS SERVICES AND EVENTS

The service of Readings and Carols for ADVENT will take place at St Botolph's on Sunday, 30 November at 6.00pm. All Welcome.

We will have an update on repair work to St Botolph's by the end of November. Heating engineers have started work on our heating. Our sound system will be fully operational from Sunday, 23 November including the Loop System.
